Zydus Lifesciences on Tuesday reported Rs 789.6 crore net profit in Q3FY24, a year-on-year (YoY) jump of 27% led by growth in India, Europe and emerging market formulation sales.

The consolidated net profit for the quarter is seen rising 33% YoY to Rs 407.40 crore, according to the average of estimates given by five brokerage firms.

Bluechip Sensex stocks, SBI, Sun Pharma, and ICICI Bank were the top gainers, rising 2-3.5%. Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, Nestle, Titan, and Asian Paints also closed with gains, while M&M, Airtel, NTPC, Tata Steel, and JSW Steel closed with cuts.
