Zensar Technologies’ shares surged nearly 10% after reporting strong Q3FY25 results, with a 10.1% YoY revenue growth to Rs 1,325.6 crore. However, profitability declined 2.7% YoY to Rs 159.8 crore. Operating revenue grew 8.6% YoY, with a PAT margin of 12%. The stock has gained 53.5% over the past year.

The Nifty Bank index was trading 0.18 per cent at 48638.55.

The Relative Strength Index of the stock stood at 43.22 on Thursday.

Bitcoin and major cryptocurrencies declined on January 23, as profit booking at higher levels and the absence of Bitcoin-related statements from Trump led to a 3.4% drop in global market cap, now at $3.52 trillion. Bitcoin traded at $101,938, while altcoins like Ethereum, Solana, and Dogecoin also saw losses. Key support for Bitcoin is at $101,300.

A total of 55,019 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:06AM (IST).

Sunil Subramaniam, Market Expert, expects the Budget to focus on boosting consumer spending, particularly supporting those at the economic bottom. He predicts minimal tax changes, possibly increasing the lower tax threshold. Domestic institutional investors will likely view this positively, as increased consumption could drive private sector capex and overall economic growth.

Indian benchmark equity indices traded higher on Thursday despite early losses, driven by IT stocks, while caution remained over moderating corporate earnings. HUL shares fell over 3% following weak Q3 results, while Persistent Systems and Coforge surged on strong earnings. FIIs continued selling, while DIIs were buying.
