Tata Motors Ltd is expected to put up a stellar performance for the December quarter, on the back of strong show by both India business and arm Jaguar Land Rover.

India Cements and Indus Towers are the latest entrants. Indus Towers witnessed large block deals yesterday where Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, popularly known as KKR, exited the company by selling its entire 4.85% stake for around Rs 2,750 crore.

Positive setup was seen in stocks like Godrej CP, Maruti Suzuki, Canara Bank, PNB, Container Corp., Indigo, Bank Baroda, Dabur, Power Grid, NMDC, Can Fin Homes, IOC, IGL and MCX.

As long as the stock is priced above the 200-day SMA on the daily time frame, it is generally considered to be an overall uptrend.

The bias was strongly skewed in favour of the bulls with 43 stocks trading in the green while 7 in the red. The top gainers were Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, BPCL, ICICI Bank, Coal India nd Hero MotoCorps while the top losers were Eicher Motors, Larsen & Toubro, Maruti Suzuki, Power Grid and Britannia Industries.

It is an uptrend signal if the RSI value has crossed above 50 from below.
