State Bank of India is set to kick off domestic bond issuances for 2024 with the sale of an additional tier-1 (AT-1) bond worth up to ₹5,000 crore. Bidding for the issue would happen on Thursday, people aware of the development said.

These bonds, with a maturity of 39 months, were priced at 6.625%, lower than the initial guidance of 7%, top management of Shriram Finance and arrangers to the issue told ET. The transaction saw a peak orderbook of close to $3 billion, one of the largest for an Indian high-yield issuance.

L&T bags 'mega order' for bullet train project

"The railways strategic business group of L&T Construction has secured a mega contract to ....construct 508 route km of high-speed electrification system works for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) Project, popularly referred to as the bullet train project," the company said in a filing to BSE.
