Coal India Ltd., incorporated in the year 1973, is a Large Cap company (having a market cap of Rs 208176.96 Crore) operating in Mining sector.

Investec maintained a buy rating on BSE and raised the target price to Rs 2345 from Rs 2140 earlier.

The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 290.5 and a 52-week low of Rs 172.25.

“With valuations generally at fair levels relative to the macro backdrop, we expect earnings to be the main driver of returns,” strategists including Timothy Moe wrote in a note, referring to Asia markets. The investment bank cut Hong Kong-listed Chinese companies to market-weight and Hong Kong firms to underweight.

The Nifty Bank index was trading 0.62 per cent down at 43724.2.
