The Federal Open Market Committee will keep rates unchanged at its two-day meeting ending Wednesday in a range of 5.25% to 5.5%, a level first reached in July. The rate decision and an accompanying statement will be released at 2 p.m. in Washington. Chair Jerome Powell will hold a press conference 30 minutes later.

Ambuja Cement Q2 Results: Revenue from operations increased by 4% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 7,424 crore in the reporting second quarter. It was Rs 7,131 crore a year ago. The company reported an EBITDA of Rs 1,302 crore in the July-September period, which was also up nearly 4 times over Rs 327 crore in the last-year period.

A total of 5,408 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:34PM (IST).
