Waystar made its IPO filing public in October after confidentially filing it in August, joining a wave of new listings that followed a months-long dry spell wrought by high interest rates and fears of a recession.

Stocks that were in focus included names like BSE, which declined 2.61%, Muthoot Finance, which fell 1.50%, and SBI Life, whose shares gained 3.30% on Tuesday.

The net short position of FIIs marginally reduced from 1,57,842 crore on Monday to Rs 1,57,326 crore on Tuesday.
