MCX December gold futures traded in the red on Wednesday at Rs 60,476 per 10 gram, down by Rs 61, or 0.10%. Meanwhile, the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 71,670 per kg, higher by Rs 116 or 0.16%.

Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund (ABSLMF) has launched two open-ended fund of funds that invest in US treasury bonds with maturities between 1-3 years and 3-10 years. The Co-head of Fixed Income at ABSL AMC, Kaustubh Gupta, states that investing in US bonds makes sense due to their relatively cheap valuation and the expectation that the Federal Reserve is nearing its peak rates. Investing through mutual funds in the ETF route allows for ease of investment and diversification in risk-off scenarios.

From the Sensex stocks, Tata Steel and JSW Steel were the top gainers, rising 1.5-2%. Nestle, SBI, HCL Tech, and UltraTech Cement also opened higher. On the flip side, NTPC, Infosys, Power Grid, Airtel, and Kotak Bank opened in the red.
