Market expert Mahantesh Sabarad suggests that investors should take advantage of the buyback opportunity, despite low premiums and potentially low acceptance ratios. He cautions that the stock may not sustain its rally due to weak results. While deal wins are strong, delivery is lacking and new hires have decreased, indicating subdued delivery in the coming quarters. Sabarad advises caution regarding the buyback and expresses concern about declining revenue and employee base.

The company is offering its shares at Rs 45 apiece, and investors can bid for 3,000 shares in 1 lot. The net proceeds from the public offer will be used to meet capex requirements and other general corporate purposes.

Following a board meeting to consider its Q2 results, TCS said the board has approved a proposal to buyback 4.09 crore shares for an aggregate amount not exceeding Rs 17,000 crore, representing 1.12% of the total paid-up equity share capital of the company.

This business can really-really spur on growth because they do not need to raise capital in the short term as they have got fairly high capital adequacy.

Shilpa Rout, a derivatives analyst at Prabhudas Lilladher, suggests selling BEL as it has been struggling to surpass the Rs 145 zone, with resistance at 141-142. She believes it could potentially drop to Rs 135. On the other hand, Rout recommends buying Motherson Sumi, which has strong support at Rs 93-92 with a target of Rs 101. She also highlights Godrej Properties, Oberoi Realty, and DLF as potential upside opportunities in the real estate sector.
