Sanjiv Bhasin, Director at IIFL Securities, is bullish on three stocks: Reliance, AU Bank, and Tata Power. He believes that if the market is to reach 20,000, Reliance must rise above Rs 2,600. On Comex, gold futures were trading at $1,876.90 per troy ounce on Tuesday, up by $11.90 or 0.64% while silver futures were at $21.970, higher by $0.460 or 1.210%.

Gill said he remained critical of the slow pace of debt restructurings under the Group of 20 Common Framework for restructuring the debt of the poorest countries, and said it was critical to speed up those processes.

After dropping 15 basis points at the open, 10-year yields were 12.5 bps lower at 4.66% at 1235 GMT. Two-year yields also dived more than 13 bps to a one-month low of 4.926% as short-term rate expectations were dialled back.

The Sensex and Nifty 50 finished 0.7% down at 65512.39 points and 19512.35 points, respectively.

He advises investors to diversify their portfolios to reduce risk and take advantage of the current correction in the market. Murugan also mentions that the continuing rally in crude oil prices and the depreciation of the rupee against the USD could pose short-term challenges.
