Gold price gained Rs 50 to Rs 57,400 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday amid a rise in precious metal prices internationally, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous trade, the yellow metal had ended at Rs 57,350 per 10 grams.

The short-term trend of Nifty has turned positive. The overall positive chart pattern indicates next overhead resistance for the Nifty around 19,800 levels for the coming week. Any dip down to 19,550-19,500 levels could be a buying opportunity, said Nagaraj Shetti of HDFC Securities

Ashwini Kumar Tewari, MD of SBI, stated that the RBI Monetary Policy is a continuation of previous statements and the growth projection remains strong. He mentioned that the credit growth continues to be strong and there is evidence of growth on the ground in terms of sanctions, disbursements, and new projects. Tewari also highlighted the risks from the external sector, such as geopolitical risks and financial tightening in Western markets. He emphasized that the RBI does not strictly follow the actions of the Fed and takes its own independent stance.

Some bondholders said they wanted more cash up front than what was offered by the company, said some of the people, who asked not to be named because the discussions are confidential. Other investors urged changes to the collateral for some debt and a date for asset sales, people said.
