For the quarter ended 30-06-2023, the company reported a Consolidated Total Income of Rs 2794.22 Crore, down -.77 % from last quarter Total Income of Rs 2815.85 Crore and up 22.16 % from last year same quarter Total Income of Rs 2287.31 Crore. Company reported net profit after tax of Rs 113.47 Crore in latest quarter.

"Shares of HDFC Bank, which fell 8% last week, may attract dip buyers, but a sustained rally is unlikely. The recent fall has highlighted bearish undercurrents and suggests that the bear phase may continue until the stock reaches Rs 1322. However, if there are upward moves that unsettle the Rs 1544-1555 region, this view may be challenged."

The MCX October gold futures were trading down by Rs 61 or 0.10% from the Friday closing price at Rs 58,885 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 73,190 per kg, lower by Rs 147 or 0.20%.

Despite the recovery in earnings and correction in valuations for new-age consumer technology stocks, many fund managers are still hesitant to invest. Kislay Upadhyay, smallcase manager and founder of FidelFolio Investments, believes that most new-age companies lack a sustainable business model and are not capital efficient enough to justify investment. He suggests investors wait for a proven business model before entering such stocks.

“The index inclusion process is a staggered process that starts from the middle of next year and ends by March ‘25. So, we will see flows coming into the markets over a period of time and it is a significant development from the perspective of ensuring that there is a new source of demand for government bonds.”

“Options data suggests a shift in a slight lower trading range in between 19500 to 20100 zones while an immediate trading range in between 19550 to 19850 zones,” Chandan Taparia, Analyst-Derivatives at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited, said.

"If companies can pass on the increase in raw material prices to consumers, their margins will remain intact. Also, replacement demand is starting to pick up in the auto ancillary sector, indicating a return of growth. Kurian discusses the recent surge in IPOs and stake sales, attributing it to companies taking advantage of the buoyant market and private equity firms seeking exits. When evaluating IPOs, emphasis is on the importance of assessing market leadership, scalability, balance sheet, cash flows, management quality, and valuations. "
