According to an exchange filing by SJVN, the government proposes to sell up to 96.6 million equity shares having a face value of Rs 10 each, representing 2.46% of the total paid-up equity share capital to non-retail investors on Thursday.

“The festive season is now in October, November, December. Prices are already up by almost 30-40% during this time. So, from a lean period of Q2, we are entering a super peak season for the aviation industry. From what we understand, the guys have already taken a 30-40% jump in their staff costs. "Real estate is a requirement for most people and therefore there is a long term demand for it. Now that said obviously it is a highly cyclical industry and like any other asset as prices go up suddenly people discover that you know they are losing out and they suddenly jump in and buy the stuff. In places like Bangalore and even Gurgaon, for the longest time there was hardly any demand and now prices have started to move up as there is not enough supply in the market."
