"The President of ISMA, Aditya Jhunjhunwala, says that there is currently no ban on sugar exports in India. He mentioned that the country has enough sugar production, with a surplus of 4 million tonnes. Jhunjhunwala emphasized that the government and industry will wait until the end of September to assess the final crop numbers before making any decisions. He also mentioned that the current sugar prices in India are lower compared to international prices."

Promoters held 63.21 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2023, while FII and DII ownership stood at 23.53 per cent and 4.24 per cent, respectively.

PSUs and defence companies were given lower multiples in the past because of the limited order size, but now I think they will be re-rating.”

Paras Defence and Space Technologies, which specialises in defence and space optics, defence electronics, heavy engineering, etc. supplied the navigation system for Chandrayaan-3. After a 5% rally yesterday, the stock was up over 12% today.

Data analysed by ETMarkets showed that as many as 154 companies that are part of the BSE500, have seen operating profit growing at a faster pace than revenue in the last quarter.

"The price discovery will happen once this technical selling is over. I still strongly believe that it starts off the race in a very strong place with strong capital which is the number one requirement for any NBFC. So, which means I think over time, it will actually see a re-rating of the multiples which on a fair value basis is hardly about a couple of times book value where it should trade much higher given its NIMS will be much higher."
