​So the chance of a soft landing here looked better and better almost by the day as inflation has fallen sharply and it looks like we are near the peak in interest rates.

Kriti Sanon and Vaishali Gupta, co-founders of skincare brand Hyphen, spoke with ET Now about their brand philosophy. Hyphen combines natural and scientific ingredients to provide users with powerful skincare products. Gupta explained that the brand is positioned as a "mass premium" offering, with prices to match. To differentiate themselves from competitors, Hyphen will focus on delivering a strong, effective message about the benefits of their products.

From the Sensex pack, Axis Bank, NTPC, Sun Pharma, TCS, HDFC Bank, and Tech Mahindra opened with cuts, while Bajaj Finance, M&M, ITC, Wipro, Infosys, and HUL opened with gains.

India VIX was up by 0.50% from 10.45 to 10.51 levels in the previous trading session. Volatility witnessed some swings throughout the session and kept the index under pressure at higher zones.

Gold and silver futures ended with sharp declines in the previous session. While gold fell by over Rs 500 or 0.84%, silver futures fell by 2.05% or by Rs 1,545. On the Comex, Gold futures were trading at $1,949.20 per troy ounce on Friday, up by $3.50 or 0.54% while Silver futures trading at $24.285, lower by $0.082 or 0.340%.
