TVS Supply Chain Solutions, part of the TVS Mobility Group, has secured approval from the Indian capital markets regulator, the Securities and Exchange Board (Sebi), to launch an initial public offering (IPO) to raise capital. The IPO consists of a fresh equity issue, aiming to raise up to INR7.5bn ($103m) and an offer for sale of more than two million equity shares by existing shareholders. TVS said it plans to use the IPO proceeds to repay debt and for general corporate expenses. TVS SCS is an integrated supply chain solutions provider that operates in more than 25 countries.

Aviation watchdog DGCA has taken SpiceJet off its enhanced surveillance regime, PTI reported quoting a senior official. The senior DGCA official said that in view of the observations made in the past concerning inadequate maintenance and in view of the incidents during the monsoon season last year, SpiceJet was placed under enhanced surveillance.

The initial public offering (IPO) of Yatharth Hospital & Trauma Care Services will open for subscription on Wednesday, 26 July.

The company posted its highest-ever operating EBITDA at Rs 764 crore, with a growth of 27% for the first quarter. It was Rs 599 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. EBITDA margins improved 60 basis points at 10.6% against 10% in the year-ago period.

Canara Bank CEO K Satyanarayana Raju said the bank is confident of maintaining a Net Interest Margin (NIM) of around 3% for the current financial year, despite higher interest expenses. He said around 52% of its portfolio is MCR-linked, which is providing good interest yields on advances. Raju added that while the cost of funds had peaked in the current quarter, the bank was focussing on its Current Account Savings Account (CASA), which has contributed Rs 3.3bn ($45m) in the last four months.

​If we look at demand, demand is quite robust. We are seeing good traction across. It is only because of seasonality the book growth is 11%. But if you look at 11%, this 11% book growth is the highest in last 15 quarters. And if you look at last couple of quarters, both the book growth and disbursement, it has been really amazing.
