ICICI Bank, incorporated in the year 1994, is a banking company (having a market cap of Rs 704562.70 Crore).

The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 143.35 and a 52-week low of Rs 104.65.

The state-owned firm also inked an initial pact with REC for securing finance of Rs 50,000 crore for projects of its subsidiaries and joint ventures. REC will provide financial assistance to set up new power generating stations based on conventional and renewable sources of energy, according to a statement on Friday.

As of 30-Jun-2023, promoters held 38.05 per cent stake in the company, while FIIs held 19.76 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 8.76 per cent.

On the technical charts, the RSI of the stock stood at 46.89.

The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 775 on 7th November 2022 but it failed to hold on to the momentum. The stock found support at Rs 557 on 29th March 2023 and then bounced back.

Further, the board has approved a buyback not exceeding 6,65,000 lakh equity shares for an amount not exceeding Rs 59.85 crore. The buyback price is fixed at Rs 900 per equity share, which is a 76% premium from the last closing price.

Option data suggests a shift in trading range in between 19500 to 20200 zones while an immediate trading range in between 19600 to 20000 zones.

From the Sensex pack, Kotak Mahindra Bank and JSW Steel were the top losers, falling 1-2%. HUL, Titan, Tata Steel, Reliance Industries, Maruti and Tata Steel also opened in the red. Whereas, L&T, Infosys, ITC, IndusInd Bank, Wipro, SBI, and UltraTech Cement opened with gains.
