Global Surfaces will be open for subscription on Monday to raise funds through an initial public offering. The company will raise Rs 155 crore at the upper price band of the issue. The shares of the company will be listed on both NSE and BSE. The company will be offering 1,10,70,000 equity through the initial public offering through the book-building process.

The market is likely to rebound by the end of the week. Geojit Financial Services chief market strategist Anad James said that five stocks from the Nifty50 index which together weigh a little over 20% in the index, have gone below their respective lows of the day when Nifty hit its recent low. James also said that inflation readings from both India as well as the US will assume high importance.

Gold prices rebounded sharply on Thursday, after the weekly jobless claims came higher than anticipation, softening the expectations ahead of the non-farm payrolls on Friday. Data showed that the weekly jobless claims jumped by 21,000 from the previous week to 211,000 in the week ended 4th March, the most since December 2022 and well above market expectations of 195,000.
