The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 340.75 and low of Rs 206.1.

Tata Motors is expected to report a net profit of between INR 3,100 to 3,204 crore and revenue growth of up to 34% for Q4 on the back of strong EBITDA expansion across divisions. DLF will post a small increase with reported net profits at INR 477 crore, whereas Vedanta may experience a 48% decline with net profits anywhere between INR 2,168 crore to 2,618 crore. Cipla is expected to report a 5% YoY growth for domestic sales, but Kotak suggests a 16% decline in South Africa for the March quarter.

The Indian stock markets are poised to consolidate due to muted market sentiments globally. The Nifty50 and the S&P BSE Sensex did not show positive trends on the previous day. The India VIX has been increasing during the last four sessions, leading to fluctuations in the market. Options data suggests trading ranging from 17900 to 18500 zones, and brokers have recommended stocks like Axis Bank, NTPC, Tata Power, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Gujarat State Petronet, coal India, Gujarat Gas, and Hindustan Unilever for traders with a short-term outlook.

I think the politics has become so complex that it has become very easy to just kind of put the other side on the dock and not take any of the blame. You see the commentary which is constantly coming from Biden administration that they all kind of point to softer issues and not really explain the economics of the whole thing well.

In the Sensex pack, L&T, Tata Steel, Asian Paints, and HCL Tech were the top laggards, falling over 1% each in early trade. NTPC, Infosys, Reliance, and Tech Mahindra also opened with losses. Whereas, M&M, Tata Motors, Maruti, and Titan opened with gains.
