BSE midcap and smallcap indices are down by 9 per cent and 12 per cent, respectively, in the year 2022 so far. On the contrary, the BSE Sensex has dropped little less than 6 per cent during the period. Gold futures on MCX were trading lower by 0.46 per cent or Rs 236 at Rs 50,611 per 10 grams. However, silver futures dropped 0.50 per cent or Rs 308 to Rs 60,817 per kg.
