IndiaMART InterMESH is set to consider issuing bonus shares to investors, subject to the approval of its shareholders, during its board meeting on April 28. Bonus shares increase stock liquidity and aim to reduce the stock price to make it more affordable for investors. IndiaMART InterMESH is one of India’s leading online B2B marketplaces with a 60% market share in the online B2B classified space, according to the Trendlyne data.

The Issue comprises an offer for sale (OFS) of about 40 million equity shares and will be open for subscription till April 27.

The Zurich-headquartered investment bank and financial services company has asked investors to focus on sectors with a high domestic exposure as the global outlook remains unfavorable.

Banks are currently offering high-interest rates for fixed deposits with a tenure of one to three years, due to the recent changes in repo rates causing higher rates. Longer-term deposit rates have not increased as much as a result. The larger banks offer rates between 7-7.5%, smaller private banks give 7.5-7.9%, and small finance banks providing higher rates, even up to 9%. Although fixed deposit rates are a good option for emergency cash, it would be desirable to prioritize the tenure of the deposit over the interest rate when investing in it.

For the fourth quarter, auto makers are expected to put up a decent show in the fourth quarter with commercial vehicle and passenger vehicle companies expected to perform better than the two-wheeler players.
