NSE Q3 Results: India s NSE reported strong YoY growth in its third-quarter numbers with a 94% surge in consolidated PAT to Rs 3,834 crore. However, sequential growth saw a hit due to reduced trading volumes and stricter Sebi norms in the futures and options segment.

DIIs share rose due to strong investments from domestic mutual funds, which infused Rs 1.54 lakh crore in Q3FY25, pushing their NSE-listed company holdings to a record 9.93%, up from 9.46%. Meanwhile, FIIs invested Rs 1,55,764 crore in the secondary market and Rs 55,582 crore in the primary market during the quarter ending December 31, 2024.

Indian indices rose, driven by gains in HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries. Key movers included Kalyan Jewellers (+12.33%), NLC India (+7.4%), Castrol India (+6.4%), Gland Pharma (-2.6%), and Tata Chemicals (-2.8%).
