Technology megacaps slumped. Google-parent Alphabet Inc , Apple Inc, Microsoft Corp, Meta Platforms, Tesla Inc and Amazon.com all fell between 4.3% and 8.3%.

RIL, Tata Power, Canara Bank, SAIL, Sundaram Finance, CSB Bank, Apollo TriCoat, Federal Bank, Grindwell Norton, IRB Infra, Brigade Enterprises and HIL are among the companies which will announce their earnings today.

The company reported a consolidated profit of Rs 25 crore, down 84% year-on-year. Consolidated revenue during the quarter improved by 13% to Rs 2,592 crore backed by higher prices and sales.
