Gold futures on MCX were trading flat, with mild gains of 0.07% or Rs 39 at Rs 55,110 per 10 grams. Silver futures ticked up by 0.03% or Rs 20 at Rs 69,729 per kg.

In the Sensex pack, Bharti Airtel, Sun Pharma, ICICI Bank and Tata Steel were the top gainers, rising about 1%. HCL Tech, Infosys, M&M, Bajaj Finance and Tech Mahindra also opened with gains. On the other hand, NTPC, Axis Bank, L&T and Nestle opened with cuts.

However, given the sturdy FCF generation in the hospital and offline pharmacy segments, APHS’ fundamentals stay strong even without the fund raise.
