The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 5930.7 and a 52-week low of Rs 2761.05.

“If we do not have a deal with Iran in the next three weeks, the prices will be well ahead of $100 a barrel because Opec does not have enough capacity to produce 400,000 barrels per day. The new normal will be between $70 and $80 a barrel after 2025. Before 2025, the new normal is somewhere in the range of $85 to $95 a barrel. It all depends on what happens in negotiations with Iran. If the Iranian deal is made, prices could dip $5-10 a barrel.”

Airtel is strongly positioned to capitalise as the industry goes through a repair process. Based on telecom regulator data, Airtel has gained 450-500 bps revenue market share in the past four quarters. Its 4G net adds of 30 million in the past 12 months have exceeded both Jio and Vodafone Idea, UBS noted.

"Now there is an opportunity to get the themes that one likes, stocks that one likes and wait for a price which one is most comfortable with. One never always gets the bottom or the absolute price that one is looking for, but have that framework ready to go and make these purchases. One theme to play is the IT services space which has corrected quite a bit. The other is the banking sector, which has capital and some sprinklings of growth and reasonable valuations."
