Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) said it continues to see strong demand for its vehicles. "As of December 31, 2022, the total order book increased to 2,15,000 client orders, up around 10,000 orders from September 30, 2022. Demand for the New Range Rover, New Range Rover Sport and Defender remains strong and represents 74% of the order book," it added.

The same is visible in tractors too backed by strong rabi sowing, good kharif procurement, and agriculture exports. Meanwhile, EV and scooter penetration is accelerating in the urban market, however, the space is getting crowded.

Broad market indicator Nifty has formed a bearish engulfing pattern on the monthly chart and the daily chart shows stiff resistance at 18300 to 18400 in the near term. The Nifty IT sector continued to be under selling pressure.
