Adani Enterprises Ltd is set to make its first-ever public bond offering, aiming to raise 10 billion rupees, while other non-banking finance companies like L&T Finance Holdings Ltd and Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd are also expected to come up with bond issuances over the next two months.

The Relative Strength Index of the stock stood at 53.88 on Friday.

In the spot market, the highest purity gold was sold at Rs 50,228 per 10 grams while silver was priced at Rs 56,267 per kg on Thursday, according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association. The spot prices of gold have eased more than Rs 1,600 in the last two months, whereas the silver in the spot market has eased about Rs 4,500 per kg during the same period under review.

The rupee which closed at 82.79 against the dollar opened slightly weaker. On Thursday, the RBI intervened by selling more than a billion dollars and the rupee gained from a low of 83.23 to 82.70, said Anil Kumar Bhansali, Head of Treasury, Finrex Treasury Advisors.

The Nifty IT index was trading 0.64 per cent down at 28250.85.

The selloff in U.S. Treasuries continued, with the benchmark 10-year yield rising to its highest since June 2008, and the two-year yield, a more direct indicator of rate expectations, jumping to its highest since August 2007.
