The Topix rose 0.14% to 1,983.57, its highest closing level since March 29. The index rallied for a fourth straight session. The Nikkei share average ended 0.33% higher at its highest since July 14 of 28,543.51.

A total of 1,031,991 shares changed hands on the counter till 02:02PM (IST).

The Shanghai Composite index ended 0.84% higher at 3,597.04. The blue-chip CSI300 index crept up from small losses to end flat.

The pan-European STOXX 600 index was up 0.1% by 0713 GMT after Asian shares slid as concerns grew over the Chinese economy after a run of soft data.

“If the real estate cycle picks up, then it bodes well for the banking sector as well. So overall, unless a severe third wave happens, we believe things will turn positive for the sector.”

The stock traded at a P/E multiple of 10.95, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 2.7.

As of 30-Jun-2021, promoters held 0.0 per cent stake in the company, while FIIs held 16.9 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 11.18 per cent.

Medium level of inflation tends to be great for commodity companies as well as financial companies, as they benefit both on growth and margins.
