Nestle said it recorded total sales of Rs 4,567 crore in Q3. The total sales growth which came in at 18.2% was the highest sales growth during a quarter in the last five years, the company said in an exchange filing.

“For ITC, we are looking at about 19% kind of growth in the EBITDA and their non-cigarette business also will continue to do well – be it FMCG, paperboards and hotel business. In the cigarette business also, we are looking at a steady state kind of growth. We continue to have a positive bias there.”

The Nifty IT index was trading 0.38 per cent down at 28206.55.

"The Board of Directors have declared second interim dividend for 2022 of Rs 120 per equity share (Face value Rs 10 per equity share) amounting to Rs 1,157, which will be paid on and from 16 November 2022," Nestle said in an exchanging filing to announce its September quarter results.
