Wall Street s main indexes opened flat on Friday, as investors expected the Federal Reserve to take a more cautious stance on interest rates after the latest batch of jobs data.

Markets regulator Sebi on Friday proposed to extend the automated closure of trading window ahead of the declaration of financial results to the immediate relatives of designated persons of listed companies. The move, if implemented, would prevent inadvertent non-compliance of insider trading rules, according to a consultation paper floated by Sebi.

Pinterest s shares rose 20% on Friday as it forecast first-quarter revenue above estimates, indicating that its AI-powered tools would spur ad spend on the image sharing platform.

LIC Q3 Results: Net premium income for Q3FY25 stood at Rs 1,07,302 crore, down 9% YoY from Rs 1,17,432 crore and 11% QoQ from Rs 1,20,326 crore in Q2FY25. Despite this, profit after tax surged 42% sequentially from Rs 7,729 crore in the previous quarter. The state insurer’s financials reflect strong profitability despite a decline in premium income.

Balu Forge Q3 Results: Balu Forge posted a 134% YoY jump in Q3FY25 net profit at ₹59 crore, with revenue surging 74% to ₹256 crore. EBITDA margins expanded to 26.47%, driven by operational efficiencies and high-margin products. The company also announced strategic diversification plans.
