Given the net worth of Rs 13,564 crore, the maximum buyback of Paytm from the tender route can be Rs 3,391 crore and the maximum buyback through the open market can be Rs 2,035 crore. If Paytm wants to avoid a special resolution, it will have to do a buyback of less than 10% of net worth, which comes close to Rs 1,356 crore, according to a report by ET Now.

The stock has made a decent correction right from 7750 to 6387 levels and has made a trend reversal with MORNING STAR pattern on the daily chart to indicate improvement in the bias and further rise is anticipated.
