The Google-Airtel deal will counter Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services in India’s cloud space by bringing online lakhs of small and medium businesses—a stronghold of the Indian telecom major.

The capex guidance is Rs 1,000 crore higher than the earlier guided capex of Rs 4,500 crore at the beginning of the fiscal. The company plans to spend Rs 3,000 crore in the ongoing last quarter of the fiscal alone, almost twice the capex last year, said people aware of the matter.

The ₹3,150-crore initial public offering (IPO) of ethnic apparel retailer Vedant Fashions will open for subscription on next Friday (February 4). The Kolkata-based company will sell its shares in the range of ₹824-866. The issue is entirely an offer for sale (OFS) of 3.64 lakh equity shares of Re one face value by promoters and existing shareholders.

Its revenue during October-December 2021 grew 47.2 per cent to Rs 283.94 crore as compared with Rs 192.84 crore in the year-ago period, a regulatory filing said.

The bank has clocked a business turnover of Rs 1,33,918 crore as at the end of December, growing 5.44 per cent year-on-year.

Income from operations grew 18.5 per cent to Rs 1,860 crore in October-December period of 2021-22, as against Rs 1,569 crore in the year-ago quarter, it said in a regulatory filing.

BofA Securities Europe SA bought 1,62,830 shares of Ganesha Ecosphere at an average price of Rs 624.51 per share, bulk deal data published by NSE showed.

“The trading volumes in terms of quantity have increased for Bitcoin and Ether as there have been some price corrections. Our platform attracts infrequent traders and holders.
