For the day, Nifty50 ended at 17,277.95, up 128.85 points or 0.75 per cent. This is even as it was the fifth straight session when the index formed a lower high-low formation.

Total revenue from operations was at Rs 5,478.86 crore against ET NOW poll of Rs 5,420 crore.

The 30-share pack Sensex rose 366.64 points or 0.64 per cent to close at 57,858.15. The index gyrated in a range of 1557 points during the day. Its broader peer NSE Nifty added 128.85 points or 0.75 per cent to 17,277.95.
