Despite the recent fall in shares of Star Health, market analysts are bullish on the counter with suggestions to buy the dip. However, their target prices are quite below the issue price of the stock.

“The largecap IT stocks are 12-15% return stocks from other levels which we are comfortable buying. My comfort level on something like Infosys is around Rs 1,400. It fell slightly below and it has jumped up around 10% from there. The upside potential remains 5-7%. The targeted range in my view for longer term investors has to be 1,350-1,400 rather than current levels.”

The bank now factors in Iran sanctions relief beginning in the first quarter of next year, at first adding 0.5 million barrels per day (bpd), then 1.3 million bpd over the second half. It previously expected Iran sanctions relief to add supply in mid-2022.

On the Nifty50 Index, Bajaj Finserv, Tech Mahindra, Britannia, Asian Paints, HUL, ITC, TCS and Infosys plunged 2 per cent each, whereas ONGC rose on similar lines. NPTC, Cipla, HDFC Life and JSW Steel added a per cent each.
