Investors are hoping that any signs of a slowdown in the U.S. employment market could sway the Federal Reserve towards a less aggressive policy path.

The EBP program supports the diversion of sugarcane and surplus sugar towards the manufacturing of ethanol which has now become the key focus point for the future of the sugar industry. The government also releases procurement prices for ethanol to divert sugarcane toward production of ethanol.

"Fast Retailing and other retailers have posted a robust sales for the past month, which is a sign that the economy is normalising," said Ikuo Mitsui, fund manager at Aizawa Securities.

One such name is Solana, a highly functional open-source project providing decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions. The token is about 85 per cent below its all-time peak of $260. It was trading at $38-odd levels on Thursday, the coinmarketcap data suggests.

With a market capitalisation of more than Rs 3,400 crore, the shares are trading above the short-term moving averages of 5, 10, 20-DMAs but below 50, 100, 200-DMAs.
