CSK started to trade at Rs 12 in the pre-IPO markets in November 2018, since its demerger with India Cements. The scrip zoomed 1,500 per cent to Rs 180 in January 2022. It has delivered a return of 165 per cent in the last year.

Nifty50 witnessed a buying interest at low as it entered into the bullish gap zone of 18,128-18081 level, giving legitimacy to the zone as critical short-term support, said Mazhar Mohammad at Chartviewindia.in.

The Nifty Auto index closed 0.37 per cent down at 11643.05.

The 30-share pack Sensex fell 12.27 points or 0.02 per cent to close at 61,223.03. The index gyrated in a range of 570 points. Its broader peer NSE Nifty dropped 2.05 points or 0.01 per cent to 18,255.75.

The Nifty Bank index closed 0.26 per cent down at 38370.4.

"From an overall TCV standpoint, we have YTD $1.2 billion, which is 21% up from last year, YoY. We are fairly comfortable and the pipeline that we have is fairly robust. We are very confident of the deals that will flow through in the coming quarters."

"The Japanese market fell a lot today - it dropped more than the Dow and S&P overnight. Sentiment has been weakened by the expected rate hikes in the United States so there are not many buyers for Japanese shares," said Jun Morita, general manager of the research department at Chibagin Asset Management.
