Jonathan Schiessl, Deputy CIO at Westminster Asset Management, emphasized their medium to long-term investment strategy, favoring financials and large-cap consumer companies despite short-term market movements. ​Now, for this month or a month or two, there could be inventory adjustments where wholesale dispatches might be lesser than retail sales because there have been talks of some sort of three-four days extra of inventory built up in the system, so I think that might get adjusted. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones (APSEZ) reported a 47% rise in quarterly consolidated net profit, reaching ₹3,113 crore, thanks to a one-time income from divesting a stake in a container terminal subsidiary. Quarterly revenue also increased by 11%, reaching ₹6,956 crore, as the company continued expanding its operations.
