The broader Topix declined 0.36% to 1,924.31, paring earlier losses as steep as 1.33%. Growth stocks suffered deeper declines, with a share index down 0.45% versus a 0.28% retreat for value shares.

The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 1147.9 and low of Rs 818.45.

On a standalone basis, however, Veritas India’s net profit rose sharply to Rs 5.12 crore in October-December as against Rs 1.06 crore over the same period a year ago.
