The matter pertains to the Clearing Corporation of India - the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)-supervised body that hosts the platform for trading domestic government bonds. In October 2022, the ESMA had de-recognised the CCIL because the RBI did not permit rights of audit and inspection over the local clearing house, which acts as the official counterparty to billions of dollars of government bond trade.

Nova Agritech​ has fixed a price band of Rs 39-41 per share for its IPO. Investors can bid for 365 shares in 1 lot and in multiples thereafter. The IPO comprises fresh equity issue worth Rs 112 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 77.5 lakh shares.

“We think investors looking to invest in large caps could deploy it gradually over the next 2-3 months but those looking to invest in mid and smallcap could wait for better entry points,” says Alekh Yadav, Head of Investment Products, Sanctum Wealth.

In the week gone by, FPIs net sold shares worth over Rs 21,000 crore, signalling a sudden shift in the strategy. So far in the month of January, FPIs were net sellers at Rs 16,455 crore.
