Jio Financial Shares Price: Shares of Jio Financial Services (JFSL) fell 6.25% to Rs 250.10 on BSE after reporting a 56% QoQ drop in Q3 profit. The decrease was due to the absence of dividend income on shares held in Reliance Industries (RIL) and increased operating expenses. JFSL plans to focus on secured lending, launch a leasing business, and expand its client base in insurance broking.

Epack Durable IPO will be open for subscription from January 19 to January 23. It has set the share price band for its upcoming IPO at Rs 218-230 per share. The minimum bid is for 65 equity shares. The IPO comprises a fresh equity issue of up to Rs 400 crore and an offer for sale of up to 10,437,047 shares by selling shareholders including the promoters and group entities. The company plans to use the proceeds to fund capital expansion and repay debt.

LIC, a major investor in the Adani Group, booked profits by reducing stakes in Adani Energy Solutions, Adani Enterprises, and Adani Ports during the December quarter. They sold 3,72,78466 shares of the three Adani companies and bought 4,500 shares of Ambuja Cements.

Indian states plan to raise 192 billion rupees ($2.31 billion) through sale of bonds later in the day. The quantum is lower than scheduled, for the second straight week.

Sohini Adnani says: "I​n an improving economic scenario, the earnings upgrade cycle for midcap stocks is far more robust as their size allows higher percentage growth in revenues and improvement in margins, which leads to superior earnings growth versus largecap companies. This leads to better valuation rerating for midcaps versus largecaps. If you look in absolute terms, even returns in large cap funds are above average during the last year but obviously not as robust as midcaps."
