Maharashtra Scooters has topped the list of Indian companies with the highest EBITDA margins of at least 50% in FY23. The company reported an EBITDA margin of 89.5% with 11.5% growth in sales and 36.84% profit growth in the same year. Other companies in the list include SJVN, Nesco, Adani Green Energy, The Phoenix Mills, Gujarat Pipavav Port, among others. Analysts predict sustained earnings growth in sectors such as autos and cement due to falling input commodity costs. However, most sectors saw downgrades during the Q4 results season.

Vodafone Idea shares soared over 7% on the NSE after reports suggested that it is poised to receive a likely infusion of INR 14,000 crore in equity as part of its business revival plan. Sources suggest that Aditya Birla Group and Vodafone Group will invest INR 2,000 crore as fresh equity in the company while the promoters will work with the company to raise another INR 7,000 crore from external investors. Economic Times reported that Vodafone Idea is planning to make a total equity investment of INR 14,000 crore in the near future in an effort to revive the business.
