Silvergate shares on Friday slumped more than 2% in after-hours trading, after closing up 0.9% at $5.77 in regular trade. The shares on Thursday had fallen to a record low, ending the day down more than 97% from their all-time high in November 2021.

Similarly, Adani Ports was bought at a price of Rs 596.2, Adani Green Energy at Rs 504.6 and Adani Transmission at Rs 668.4.

Looking at the inflation readings, sound ISM non-manufacturing data and weekly jobless claims, gold rally is all about risk-on sentiments which are primarily the result of market participants’ notion of a pause in rate hike.

One should have detailed research on an individual company like understanding the business model, the moat of the business, management quality, and corporate governance as well as channel check on a continuous basis to understand the growth prospects of a company.

Even if there is no major decline, it is capable of injecting markets with some spikes in the near term.
