The S&P 500 opened lower by 10.80 points, or 0.25%, at 4,363.14, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 34.70 points, or 0.25%, to 13,716.70 at the opening bell.

Terra has more than doubled in the last one month, rallying as much as 115 per cent. The token has surged about 85 per cent in the last one week. The scrip has surged as much as 30 per cent in the 24-hour timeframe.

Wednesday is likely to see the levels of 17,860 and 17,985 acting as resistance points. Supports come in at 16,710 and 16,580 levels.

"On the supply side for investment growth, a lot of catalysts are there. You have got an asset monetisation programme, infra pipeline, IBC and, of course, PLI schemes. So, on the supply end, there is enough. But to complete that cycle and boost investment, you would need demand to also pick up."

The review could impact the timing of the mega public offering, India’s largest, which made up the biggest portion of the country’s $10.4 billion asset-sale program aimed at stanching the budget deficit for the year through March 31, 2022.
