Sanjiv Bhasin, Director of IIFL Securities, recommends buying Reliance stock with a one-year perspective as it is expected to add momentum to the stock market and participate in new highs. Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) has acquired a 0.6% stake in Reliance, valuing the company at close to Rs 10 lakh crores. Bhasin believes the fair value of Reliance is Rs 20-23 lakh crore. He also suggests investing in Paytm, Tata Steel, Hindalco, and Devyani International as part of his Navratri stock picks.

MCX Gold futures have gained nearly Rs 3,000 or 5.21% in October largely aided by the Israel-Hamas crisis since last week, Anuj Gupta, Head Commodity & Currency, HDFC Securities said. As for Silver futures, the gains are to the tune of 2.90% or Rs 2,025 on the month-to-date basis, he added.

Bitcoin has been trading above the $28,200 level in the last 24 hours.
