An ET NOW poll of analysts had anticipated the profit figure at Rs 365 crore. Its net premium income increased 11% YoY to Rs 16,477 crore.

Revenue from the mainstay cigarette business grew more than 23% on year to Rs 6,953.80 crore. Cigarettes constitute more than 80% of ITC’s net profit and about 45% of its topline. The hotel business saw a sharp recovery on the resumption of business and leisure travel. This segment’s revenue rose by a whopping 82% on year to Rs 536 crore.
