"How long will you keep selling India? When India does well in the global recovery, at that time they would want to come and buy in a hurry. They sold it unemotionally they will buy it unemotionally. But my retailer is buying continuously. So, when both of them want to buy, you will have a Diwali," Agrawal added.

The company is looking to extend its competitive edge. The current valuation asks for healthy growth, but there is margin pressure from a weak sales mix and high-cost inventory, the brokerage said.

“We have globally remained a food, beverage and nutrition company. Man, woman, boy, girl, dog, cat what you need as food is what we provide. I think we have established our position humbly as the world’s largest consumer goods company and there is enough and more to be done. We will probably not expand beyond this. We have of course businesses like health science which are doing extremely well .”

Siddarth Bhamre, Research Head, Religare Broking said that bond yields may top out around 7.75-8%. Around these levels, it would be prudent to have some exposure in long-tenure bond funds, say about 30%, according to him.
