Hyundai India eyes record $3.5 billion IPO

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. plans to start gauging investor interest in the coming weeks, with a listing likely in September or October, the people said, asking not to be identified as the information isn’t public.

Groww Asset Management Ltd (formerly known as India bulls Asset Management Company Ltd) and its trustee have settled with markets watchdog Sebi a case pertaining to alleged violation of regulatory norms after paying Rs 9 lakh. This came after the applicants Groww Asset Management Company and Groww Trustee Ltd (earlier known as India bulls Trustee Company Ltd) proposed to settle the alleged violation by "neither admitting nor denying the findings of fact".

US-based activist investor Hindenburg Research has once again opened its mouth on the Adani controversy but the target this time is Kotak Mahindra Bank and markets regulator Sebi. As a result, shares of the private sector lender fell up to 4% while Adani stocks were unaffected by the revelations made by the short-seller.

Nifty ended Tuesday’s session with a small loss of 18 points to form a small red candle on the daily chart which indicated that bulls are getting tired at peaks.

The index fell over 400 points to close at 52,168. The index continues to linger in a sell-on-rise mode with the next immediate support at the 52,000-51,800 zone. Failing to stay put within this support can increase Nifty Bank’s selling pressure towards the 51,400-51,300 level.

The 30-stock S&P BSE Sensex ended the day at 79,441.45, dropping 35 points or 0.04% while the broader Nifty closed at 24,123.85, settling 18.10 points or 0.07% lower. Of the 16 sectoral indices on the NSE, 11 closed in the red while the remaining 5 ended in the green.

On Tuesday, major Indian stock indices closed slightly lower due to selling pressure across sectors such as banks, auto, and FMCG.
