SCI has submitted a new demerger plan to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and has excluded some of its assets from the proposed demerged entity, ET Now reported. It said that the meeting would discuss the progress of the SCI demerger and bids plan in the current fiscal.

“I would not be too worried about the end price of the spectrum because in most bands, spectrum is available in fairly abundant quantities. It should be more than enough to accommodate three players. The worry is less on the bidding front but is more on the lines of what happens in future once the Adani entity gets spectrum and over a period of time starts looking at the consumer 5G market seriously.”

Shares fell as much as 7.8% to $33.93 in premarket trading Monday, on track to erase $2.2 billion in market value, after Musk backed out of an agreement to buy the social-media giant and take it private. Shares in Tesla Inc., the electric car maker that Musk leads, rose 1.1%.

In the last five years, the counter has zoomed 850 per cent, whereas it soared over 1,000 per cent from its Covid-19 lows of April 2020. Promoters and promoter group entities hold 74.97 per cent shares in the company, whereas public shareholders own the remaining 25.03 per cent stake in Adani Power.

“We would look towards pyramid utilisation as well as growth as the primary levers to get back to 25% first and then gradually look at the premium levers of pricing and realisation, looking at currency support to get us to our comfort band. That should hopefully happen sooner than later.”
