The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 2773.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 1750.81.

The Nikkei share average rose 1.23% to 29,222.77, its highest closing level since Jan. 5. The broader Topix advanced 1.26% to 2,006.99."Strong U.S. equities lifted investor sentiment," said Takatoshi Itoshima, a strategist at Pictet Asset Management Japan. "Investors responded to the upbeat earnings of U.S. retailers."

The Relative Strength Index of the stock stood at 57.74 on Wednesday.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd., incorporated in the year 1977, is a Mid Cap company (having a market cap of Rs 11075.10 Crore) operating in Pharmaceuticals sector.

Among Sensex constituents, Asian Paints has rallied 35.47 per cent since June 17 to Rs 3,499.65 level from Rs 2,583.20, even as the stock is still flatish for 2022 so far. With prices of crude and crude derivatives easing, Asian Paints has come out with better-than-expected results, leading to 3.6 per cent revision in consensus EPS estimates for FY23 and 3.1 per cent upgrade for FY24 estimates.
