The non-banking finance company plans to raise the capital in two phases. It is in the process of raising Rs 20 crore next month from high-net worth individuals. The distribution plan would spell out the quantum of debt - currently on the books of the Future Group - that would be absorbed by Reliance entities and the amount which will stay with Future Enterprises (FEL). Shareholders and creditors are scheduled to vote on the scheme on April 20 and April 21, respectively.

Gold prices gained on Monday, touching their best level since mid-March as the Russia-Ukraine crisis drove investors to the safety of bullion. Spot gold was up 0.5% at $1,984.20 per ounce, as of 0025 GMT, its highest since March 14. U.S. gold futures edged up 0.8% to $1,990.20.
